Day off

Luca and Evie had the day off school today as their teachers were participating in some kind of planning for the next three years of the lycée here.

We headed to Gorky Park to the ice rink and had a great time. Skated and skated, had a break in the italien restaurant for lunch and then skated some more.

The processing on the photo makes it look hideously cold which it was (-6°c - but whilst we were skating we were fine) but with blue skies and sunshine which made it all very pleasant.

note - they are actually getting quite good now and so the lying on the ice was just to pose for the photo. Evie wants to learn how to pirouette....!
