Better late ...

I'm at least a few weeks behind with making the Christmas cake but who's to know, apart from you lot? Abandoned the usual recipes and just picked one at random off a website, then varied it a bit. As I tend to do! I'm sure the mixture of Cointreau and sherry will be a fine replacement for the brandy that usually gets sooked up by the fruit. If nothing else, I've finished off a couple of bottles of booze. That's the festive spirit!
