They don't owe me anything!

A cheap pair of gardening gloves which have lasted for ages. Today I decided to tidy up our front garden. It was such a lovely day and I really enjoyed the exercise and did far more than I intended. Obviously it was in more of a mess than I had let myself acknowledge! Unfortunately the fingers in the gloves finally gave up after their faithful service and my hands were filthy with ingrained dirt. Scrubbing in the shower has almost sorted out the damage but I now have very short nails!
