Festive lights

in Piccadilly. Today I went to the Royal Academy to see the art of Giovanni Battista Moroni, not very widely known as he chose not to paint in Venice, but much admired for his realistic portraits. I'm always just in awe that these old works have survived so well. Then it was impossible to avoid the decorations all over so this is the first for this year!
