View to nowhere

Rather the opposite to yesterday's sky. I did the airport shuttle this morning for J to catch his flight back to Christchurch, and decided to do a run on the Manukau Harbour (WaterCare) walkway and the Otuataua Stonefields while I was out that way. A rather miserable day and hardly an inviting shoreline (!), but interesting dry stone walls and evidence of earlier settlements inland, not to mention quite a lot of birdlife along the mudflats.
