Freezing Midwives

Today was the second time the RCM took industrial action. We have not had a pay rise in 4 years! Last time it rained, and we were wet through all day. This time it was a crisp, sunny morning, but zero deg cent!! We were frozen just standing there for hours!

The support we got from the public was amazing though. We got given hot chocolate, doughnuts, bacon sarnies, tea/coffee. This photo is of 2 of the midwives being thoroughly delighted at receiving bacon sarnies!

Lets hope we make the government change their minds!
