~One year ago today~

One year ago today we lost out beloved dog Garth. This picture is of him on his last day of his life.
Garth's last day
Garth loved eating apples from our apple tree. It is apparent that he is no longer with us because at any given time you will find 3 to 6 deer in the yard eating the apples.. This picture was taken when he looked up at me in between bites.
I even went out with a broom and knocked some out of the tree for them. They stepped aside and waited for them to drop then went right back to eating.
