Bumpy

I was wondering why this squirrel was so nonchalant whenI was photographing him this morning. It was almost as if he was posing. He groomed himself. He relaxed. He looked over at me and didn't seem to mind my being there at all. Later when I looked at the photographs on my computer I figured out why. This is Bumpy, or at least that is what I call him because of the bump on his nose. He is the only squirrel that will come up and take peanuts from my hand. So he knew me before I figured out I knew him. He was not on the deck and did not approach for food which is a good thing since I didn't have any with me. I liked the golden leaves behind him so I chose his portrait for my blip today. (Large)
