Blind Lane.

Looking very leafy on a lovely Autumn day.

We don't often walk up this lane as it is quite a steep pull to the top but
Chris and I went down it today on a pleasant walk around the St Ives Estate. It was too nice to stay in especially with the awful weather forecast for tomorrow. Lots of leaves under foot but still the odd splash of colour on the trees which looked lovely in the sun.

This lane skirts the Sports Turf Research Institute which produces turf for sports facilities around the world and today they had about 20 lawn mowers lined up presumably to test them. Interesting to watch but not interesting enough for a blip.

We returned via Lady B's for a coffee and then a final circuit of Coppice Pond looking very sparkly. The cygnet and the Greylag goose were there with lots of gulls and ducks and quite a number of Canada Geese which have returned since last week when there was only one to be seen first thing in the morning.

Yet again we said how lucky we are to have this on our doorstep.
