Chilly time for the coats

It was a very chilly start in the shire this morning. So much so the dog coats were out!

This is Parky (brindle) and Lucy (black) our two wonderful ex racers. We adopted them over 6 years ago. Not wanting a greyhound we just fell in love with there personalities and the story's behind how they have come to be in a rescue.

Well we enjoyed our chilly walk in the heavy frost this morning, although it was to cold for Lucy. She gets cold feet and suddenly stops and roll on her back and put her paws in the air. I know it's a very strange thing to witness let alone explain to other dog walkers. They pass me by with a expression 'why is your dog doing a dying fly impression' I just smile try and encourage her to stand up. But I'm often reduced to picking her up until we get to the road side is pavement.

Anyway good night blippers x
