The log book of my dad's first car after the war. It was an Austin 10 which he got as a company car just after the war as my grandfather had a bakery machinery company so dad did is commercial traveller bit in it. The duty was twelve pounds and ten shillings for a year and had it for ten years until March 1948. The car was registered in 1938 so it a good age when they got. Still he got rid of it to an uncle of our's whether any money changed hand's we'll never know. This was just one of the car's we had in our family as dad always changed the car when the ashtray's were full !!!! He did smoke a lot and we all suffered !
