A perspective seldom seen.

Since the earthquake we are always having to take detours, including detours off the main detours, to avoid roadworks and work on the city's underground services.

Today's detour presented me this vista of our house. Being on the hill it is not an easy house to get a photo of.

The good news is that yesterday we signed off the "scope of works" for its repair .... and we should learn the builders intended start date before Christmas.

Hopefully not many months to wait now!
Yay!

It won't look like this during the repair as most of the cladding and internal gib board is coming off. It is being taken right back to the frame.

It will be a see-through house for a while!
