Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of Bakewell do such amazing work year in year out and they're latest fund raising and awareness campaign is to raise funds for Action for Children Derbyshire Young Carers a charity which aims to offer support and respite to local young people, many of whom have lost childhoods through caring for family members at a very young age.
They have an illuminated tree in Bath Gardens and the switch on was this evening.
To be honest I'd forgot about it and arranged to be somewhere else but was reminded of it when I popped down to the cashpoint and heard the rather lovely Tideswell Band playing carols.
