Late afternoon pumpkin eaters

I planned on blipping this female cardinal but then these two arrived. I shot them with the long lens in low light, through the kitchen double glazed window, so the resolution is junk, but look at their faces. Lots of Blue Jays were out feeding as it snowed this morning. The last of the fall leaves on the bushes looked beautiful against the snow.

We had turkey leftovers for lunch, T worked from home, her voice slightly returned, but was finished off after a long business call. Raspberry was most pleased with the bits of turkey sent home for her from my brother's too.

I put away our Thanksgiving decorations and got out our favorite Christmas decorations and put the electric candles with white lights in the windows this afternoon. Snow on the ground and cold air, it feels very seasonal .

One hand healthy, one voiceless more or less
