Marlborough - Grape growing country

We went to Blenheim today, did a bit of shopping, then went and visited some friends. We went for a little ticky tour of the area, and was amazed at the amount of grapes that are grown in the region. We had a lovely meal with our friends at a cafe tonight, and then drove the 2 hours home. It was a lovely day out.

We left home with rain; had a beautiful fine day in Blenheim (although it was a bit windy), and returned home to the rain and cold again tonight. I think we will have to shift!

I love the rows and rows of grapes in this photo. But best of all, I love the beautiful blue sky. Something we haven't seen for such a while!
