Chantler's November Theme Challenge - Sunday Seasons

Today is the first Sunday of advent, and there was a gorgeous blue sky, so I couldn't resist going for the churchyard for my photographs. This is taken from the back. The church is a relatively simple design, with a large graveyard at the back. Unfortunately a very large tree prevents me from being able to angle the "angel" statue in front of the building, so I settled for this 19th century cross.
