Greenfinches

A day spent working on my degree assignment and staring out the window in roughly equal measures. The birds in the garden were active today, and I got some technically much better pictures than this of great tits checking out the nest boxes, closer and in better focus.

But, and perhaps I'm imagining it, my eyes were continually drawn to these lovely greenfinches and the way they were both looking straight at the camera with such determined expressions!
