Sky scraper

The scraped sky is caged,
A broken kaleidoscope,
Confounding senses.

A lovely day in London to celebrate Greg's 21st, which is on Monday). Greg is at Uni in Leicester, so he travelled down and we travelled up to meet for an un-birthday lunch.

Then a bit of a wander as the light was fading before he had to head off back to Leicester. The day passed too quickly. It will be strange not to be with him on his birthday, especially a special one ... but it can't be helped. He will be home for Christmas very soon.

Needless to say photos were taken ... quite a few of the Shard ... which I am growing to like now ...
... this was some office block, but I loved the reflections of the clouds in the glass ... as though they were passing right through the building.

And now the weekend seems to have disappeared ... and I STILL haven't caught up ....
