Mono-Monday: Season

We are ready for the winter season!

Last February, we had a 17 inch snowfall which occurred one day or so after my husband fell on the icy driveway and broke two ribs. Our driveway is double width, and approximately 3 1/2 car lengths long, so this was a lot of snow to move. When our sons heard that their mother (that would be me) had shoveled all that snow, they bought us a snowblower. Here it is ready for the winter season.

We are a bit overwhelmed by it as it seems to be much more complicated than the lawn mower. It has an electric start, 4 forward speeds and two reverse speeds, and clears a two foot width.

It is actually much nicer in color because it is a bright shiny red. I had to shoot this in the garage so couldn’t really be concerned about background. Nevertheless, I have tried to disguise the garage and the 50 year old garage floor, with moderate success.

So, Mother Nature, bring it on! (just give us a chance to read the manual, first).
