Cyclamen Propellor

A bit brighter today - but mostly waiting around for deliveries - again. It's THAT time of year - again!

Spent a while this afternoon trying to photograph this cyclamen flower. I was using my macro lens and my cheap little ringflash unit. I thought there was a fault with it or the batteries too weak as it wouldn't fire properly. I then discovered (actually, re-discovered , as I remember this happening before) that third party flash units do not fire in Live View mode - doh. Must write that down!

This was taken looking out through the window with the hedge and fence as back ground - which is a complete blur.

I thought the flower profile looked like a boat propellor!
