Striding out in the early morning

A friend and I have a pact to meet for short walks in the local area - we both need the exercise. Having spent the rest of the day indoors, I was glad I'd had an hour this morning for a walk with her. It was a traumatic day full of the ups and downs of being the mother of a teenage daughter.
