Framework

When it comes to weekday blips, it boils down to an early morning indoor jaunt (surely an inappropriate word) looking for things that affect the path of light. I have been enjoying these monochromatic abstracts (though I don't really to call them that). But sadly, it doesn't say much about the day. Even this nice framework of light and shadow was only fleeting. It was largely overcast which prevented temperatures from soaring.

After Adda's mail in the morning, few of us photographers from office got together to visit an exhibition of photographs from the Himalayas. Very few of the photos stood out in their execution or creativity. But Himalayas provide you with the most majestic landscape and as Adda puts it, you can't "go wrong" with your photography there. We even had an opportunity to interact extensively with the artists at the venue and they demonstrated their usage of filters which are critical while shooting such landscape.

After that we headed off to one of the well known bakeries in the city called 'Vacs' since a friend had taken the opportunity to ask us to pick out a cake for his wife's birthday! Of course we couldn't help but grab a few bites from the array of pastries and patties on the shelves. It was a most enjoyable outing in the afternoon, given the good weather. One way of looking at it would be a prolonged lunch session of over 3 hours. But then lost time had to be made up, so had to stay back a bit longer tonight to complete some pending work.
