Saturday 13 March 2010: The road less travelled ...
Into deep rural areas between Nieu Bethesda and Richmond, Johann and Werner encountered areas less travelled, but equally daunting.
At this spot, although the image does not give the whole perspective, bikes had to be pushed and unfortunately, the truth is, a much steeper incline of a much damaged road, than shown here.
But far worse awaited them.. this they also survived.
