December Challenge: Lines

My business partner and I were given the gift of time, right in the middle of the holiday preparation period. We sponsor a quilting retreat each year at a center located in the Temecula Wine Country. As you might imagine, December is not a peak time for going on a retreat. The center chose to offer a two night, three day retreat for the sponsors at no cost as a thank you for our ongoing business over the years. Besides being able to work on unfinished/unstarted projects that had been piling up, we were treated to special gourmet meals, a cooking class from the resident chef, Christmas Caroling by a children's choir, an apron-making contest, and wine tasting on our first afternoon.
Jason on the left is the facility director, checking his watch to see if it is 5:00 somewhere. Sean on the right is from the winery next door, telling us about the three varieties of wine he brought along to sample. Not pictured is Charity, the wonderful chef who prepared some amazing appetizers to go along with our wines. The link to lines is the lines in the fence behind, the lines of bottles and glasses on the table, and the lines that the 30+ ladies formed just after the presentation. So nice to be spoiled!
