Changing Room

I spent part of the day visiting Hughendon Manor, the home of a previous British Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli specifically to hear a bit of carol singing and see the House decorated for Christmas. Just missed the former but enjoyed the latter - it was done very tastefully and with style. Hughendon is not a large house as these stately homes go, and so still feels like the sort of place where you could actually live. This image is of a bedroom showing the dressing table where the Lady of the House would CHANGE!

I also made a start on the Christmas shopping and bought all the bits to make the Christmas cake (Yes, I know it should have been done a long time ago!)

Last rehearsal of Tring Choral Society this evening before the concert on Saturday.
