Home At Last!

Today -- six and a half weeks after we left -- we returned to our home in Connecticut. We drove from Boston to our son's house just outside of Hartford to pick up BB, our labrador, who had been staying there since we left on our cruise. Although he was very happy to see us, I think he's a bit confused now ... he really loved "babysitting" our ten month old grandson, and I think he's already missing him now that we are back at our quiet, childless house! Nevertheless, you can see the tail is wagging, so that's a good sign.
