Going home.

At last! We had a proper warm day. It was such a beautiful day. I took J and one of his friends up Corstorphine hill. The boys had a fantastic time trying to build a den. We were up there for ages collecting sticks and arranging them against a fallen tree to create a kind of den. They were thrilled by it...but they are 6.

Unfortunately None of my pictures of the actual den were particularly good so here is one of the boys coming home. They were swatting midges just before this was taken. Midgies! Oh well I think I'd rather have good weather and midgies than the horrible weather of late and no beasties.

I'm going to go back tomorrow and take some better pictures.
