Saturday 20 March 2010: Mersault

This is Neil Pennycook from Edinburgh band Mersualt.

Today was a very busy one, swimming lesson with the girls in the morning, It was the first time that Mrs Sitting has come along for a while and she was very pleased with the progress. They are getting on brilliantly.

Due to the failure of touching wood, fairy dust, luck or whatever else, I had to go to work for a bit today. All worked out and got going well.

This gave me a good excuse to head to the farmers market and Lupe Pintos for food and food chat.

When I got home the girls were all out their summer gear.

Been out tonight to a gig. Started with some odd twidling by Les Enfant Bastard, some very short but mellow tunes from some bloke called John. ?
Sadly, the sweet voiced Johnny Lynch , aka Pictish Trail, had toncillitous, so was replaced by the superb Neil Pennycook from Mersualt. The highlight of the night was Dan , aka Withered Hand

Phew, Lets hope I can sit down tomorrow.
