Sunday 21 March 2010: Big Bird

Last weeks, there were lots of rumours on our Island about a big bird of prey killing chicken. This afternoon I spotted this bird. I estimate he's 50 cm high. Although it is a pretty big bird, I don't think he can handle full grown big chicken. So two questions: what kind of bird is this, and is he strong enough to take away chicken the same size as his own?
