Friday 26 March 2010: 3 for 2 offer now on!
Another monkey picture, I apologise but they were round for ages today! The mister sat outside feeding them for a while, Clauds and I joined him briefly but it was a bit hot to keep hold of a wriggly baby so we sat on the hall carpet watching instead.
Just when I thought they had all gone a lone female appeared at the front door.
They always look my house up and down like they're criticising my interior decorating skills. Cheeky monkeys!
No sooner had she decided my hall carpet wasn't quite to her taste when another appeared.
They sat watching the cats for a while and then number 3 joined in the party. It felt like a panel of judges on some cr*ppy talent show! I don't think they were too impressed as they pootled on off before long, leaving the cats completely unaware that they had been scrutinised.
In the photo are Basil and Onion by the way. Basil has had a hard day of being a wildcat. She rarely comes in during the day and when she does she always looks like she's been up to something. Ons is just a fat lazy git but I don't often see him during the day either... But the arrival of the monkeys means the arrival of food to feed the monkeys, which is occasionally cereal. Not one to miss out on the opportunity to pack on another pound or two, Onion is rarely far behind.
I will miss days like this when we have to return to the UK!
