Saturday 27 March 2010: Early bird

Expected rain much earlier in the day, so headed out to the horse before 9. Rewarded with the most wonderful hack in brilliant weather, great views of the mountains and a good warm feeling in my heart.

I love this beautiful, dirty, hairy, mucky, lovely, faithful, stupid, wonderful creature more than anything in the world.

P.S.: No grand pictures taken today - sometimes you must see life not through a lens but full frontal...
