Sunday 28 March 2010: The Chief Officer
All ranks on board are important, you cannot operate a vessel on your own. On a chemical tanker the Chief Officer plays a key role. responsible for loading, discharging and tankcleaning; this all to be done in a safe and environmental friendly way.
The composition of the Bio Diesel was: 60% Soybean oil, 20% Rapeseed oil and 20% Palm oil. Base ingredients for margarine. Not too difficult to clean for our next cargo of Lubricating oil.
