Worth a thousand words

my favourite cat

The neighbours had a new kitchen fitted today. Lots of vans in the street with open doors for cats to explore. Came home to find Sainsbury missing. He is always home when we get in. His stomach tells him what time it is. We hunted high and low and then asked the neighbours for the number of the kitchen fitter.
Phoned the guy and he was very good. He went out and checked his van. No cat. He said he had seen a ginger and white one in his van during the day but no black and white. Most of our tea went in the bin. (Worried sick) Getting dark and pouring with rain. Had he jumped out of the van and got lost miles away. Would we ever see him again? Search the streets with a box of munches to shake in one hand. No sign of him. Better clear up the dishes. Bang the cat flap is thrown open and in steps the bold boy soaked to the skin and hungry and looking at us like what?s the problem. Just another day in the life of a pet owner.
