Thursday 1 April 2010: Windforce

Our 400 year plus old lighthouse Brandaris is due for a complete renovation. The walls were grit blasted and grouted. To provide some shelter for the workers, scaffolding with tarpolins were erected. But as always; the force of the wind is underestimated. Guaranteed to resist windforces up to 10 beaufort, the tarpolins came loose with 7 beaufort.
