The pond wasn't there last week ..

Following last week's snow, a large pond appeared in the field behind us. Days later other puddles have gone and it's still there. Each day we've had more and more birds arriving, two types of gulls and others, chatting raucously to each other. I'd not really thought about how much noise you must get if you live near the sea.
