St. Albans School

Been a day of tidying up, plastering cracks, re-attaching skirting boards and throwing a carpet out the window.

Todays photo is of St. Albans School where longershanks & youngershanks "got educated". The school traces its history back to 948 and includes in its alumni Nicholas Breakspear (c.1100-1159), who became Pope Adrian IV (1154-1159) the only Englishman who has occupied the papal chair.
