Monday 5 April 2010: Megalodon Tooth
This is my Easter find from the beach yesterday, it is soaking with my other shells and shark teeth. For every inch of tooth there was 10 feet of shark. This would be about 2.5 inches with the tip so it came from a 25 foot shark or 7.6 meters. I would not want to meet that fish, although it would have been a small one in its day. Someday I would like to find a tooth the size of my palm, but that will take a bit more searching.
