Tuesday 6 April 2010: Evening trip to Horsfall Beach
This afternoon warmed up and the sun returned!
After work hubby and I took a drive out to Horsfall Beach. It was really gorgeous out there and fairly warm compared to what it's been lately. We walked out on the observation deck and spotted a few guys on ATVs running along the shoreline and this lone angler.
We had not realized that the observation deck was overlooking a ship's hull that had been uncovered within the sand. I know the last couple of years have revealed a couple of ship wrecks, but I can't remember the details. It tried to photograph it but the waves were splashing to heavily around it. I might go out there again sometime soon when the tides are lower.
