Wednesday 7 April 2010: Over the sea to Skye

Every child should be given at least an hour playing on Coral Beach before their tenth birthday. I wasn't, but Layla was and you can see her turn back into a wee girl whenever we visit, spending hours on her hands and knees combing the sand for tiny little shells.

I eventually dragged her and Bella off to to Portree for fish and chips, a sprint back to the car in the rain, and a dramatic drive back through the Cuillins.

Magic.
