Did menial jobs in and around the house till just after eleven.

Took Mom to the Geneva Clinic (day hospital) for her yearly check-up for cancer of the bladder. Unbeknown was the fact that the urologist was very much behind schedule due to an emergency procedure .....

Mom's ward mate was an exceptional person - a lovely girl visiting the country with her fiancee who in turn is visiting his parents in our town. Her home country is Wales and she hails from Cardiff ... yet, she seems to have fallen in love with our weather and beautiful scenery .. what a lovely acquaintance to make!

So, scans and biopsies done, and after waiting for hours and hours for the doctor to finish his surgical procedures in the theatre, he finally appeared and dismissed Mom (with very good news) and our lovely lady from Wales - also good news to her!

On our way home, through a very dirty windscreen, this image was taken of the traffic in our town at eight at night - not much to be concerned about! Everybody has one way minds at this stage, and that is to get home and to rest!
