Aacheners in the rain

Just returned from Aachen where we went to buy a new lawn mower. It rained all day. The Aachen Dom (cathedral) is impressive in any weather, and I caught this early afternoon shot of Aacheners going about their business in the rain. Here's another shot of it taken at night two months ago.


Thank you for all your kind comments on yesterday's blip. They were very encouraging and much appreciated. I'm not as intimidated by my new camera as I was yesterday, but have decided to put away the headache-inducing instruction manual for now and learn to use it the only way I know how - by trial and error.
