I've always wanted to share with the world how efficient waste collection is here. Just one guy in a truck with a long outstretching mechanical arm.
You'll have to wait for another summer to see a similar truck watering street trees. At the moment it is raining cats and dogs, so I wouldn't expect to see a giant watering can on the street.

Apologies for the quality of the photo, my windows need a clean and there aren't window cleaners here! I've been spoiled a bit by English guys with ladders and buckets.
