Thursday 8 April 2010: God and Mammon
Happily coexisting in the heart of Soller. The modernist facade of the parish church of Saint Bartholomew (on the right) was designed by Joan Rubió, the catalan architect, in 1904.
The Bank of Sóller on the left (now a branch of Banco Santander) was designed by the same chap in 1912.
Then it was time to leg it home.
