Saturday 10 April 2010: GOOSEY GOOSEY GANDER
I spent most of today in the next Dale from the one in which I live. I met my friend at a garden centre there and after having partaken of coffee and cake (obligatory) I purchased some pots of herbs but resisted buying anything from the craft section (I awarded myself a gold star on account of that).
Following our floral foray we then went to the house where my friend is currently staying as she is house and pet sitting for a friend of hers. The pets are three lapis lazuli dogs (they are actually Llasa Apsos but she can never remember what breed they are and the gem name is the nearest she gets).
Having put Eric, Ernie and Eliza (the dogs) on their leads we took them for a walk by the river. I attempted to get a photograph of all three of them but it was nigh on impossible to get them all facing the right way (never work with kids and animals). Hence the picture of the goose who was far more compliant than the dogs.
