Monday 12 April 2010: South Pole

It was our first freezing cold morning. Maybe freezing in an exaggeration, the temperature was nowhere near the freezing point. But it felt cold. I pulled out a jumper from a drawer, Hanna wrapped up in a warm dressing gown and brought her duvet to watch her holiday morning TV allowance.

We seem to be missing a couple of seasons, from wet winter into blasting summer, and from there into cold(ish) winter. Autumn lasted approximately 3 days. I'm not complaining, I like my warm hoodies.
