Shadows on a wall

In a small enclosed shopping area, I saw this old plane tree casting lovely shadows against the wall of this flatlet. The wooden steps leading upward and the many green/yellow/orange autumn leaves, attributed to a lovely atmosphere.

With a lovely hot temperature of 28 today, and tomorrow even higher, I wonder what has become of winter ..... perhaps this is just a prelude to reality approaching our area from far beyond Cape Town.
