Still life with secateurs

To wit:

- beloved secateurs, diligently sharpened
- 1 salt glaze mug (with cold tea) by my brilliant potter friend Steve Harrison
- 1 old stoneware vase from a local flea market (can someone tell me what this was originally used for?)
- cherry blossom from a half-rotten tree we had to cut down yesterday
- segments of bamboo which will go into a bug hotel Tim's building for me
- 1 pair stiff leather gardening gloves I'm finding hard to love even if they keep the thorns out
