Memorial to mining

Bo'ness Miners memorial

This memorial serves as a reminder to the town's roots.

It may now be a fast growing commuter town for Edinburgh and has big plans for marinas and luxury seafront flats and it's own steam railway, but it will always have it's history set in it's mining past. We will not hold our breath for the Investors flocking in as this is on the banks of the Firth of Forth, 4 miles from one of the oldest oil refineries in the UK and Scotland's one and only.

Another beautiful day with a cloudless blue sky
A visit to my Parents home to do a wee bit of shopping, cooking and cleaning.
Also tried to help Dad sign up to and use MSN messenger for the first time.
Curlfries very kindly chatted to him online, but scared him half to death by sending him a nudge.

It's ok, he had stopped shaking by the time I left.

Thanks son!
