Tuesday 13 April 2010: Duck!
Yes, laydees and genn'lmen. The audience is hushed and expectant for the arrival of the great "Duck" Baker.
OK, I must admit to not being overly familiar with the man's oeuvre, but by jingo he was jolly good!
So good we had to go and convene afterwards at a nearby etc etc to discuss and imbibe etc etc.
Earlier, I'd cycled up Currie Kirkgate, a good steady climb and was well chuffed that I didn't need to stop anywhere up it. Thems old legs and lungs can take a bit more punishment yet, I reckon.
