Low pressure steamdrum

Not much to do after the trial runs with unit EC 7.
Still plenty vibrations on the medium- and high pressure steamturbine.

So here is a picture of the low pressure steamdrum at unit EC 3, hanging in the top of the boilerroom at a height of app. 50 meters.
At the top the steam is coming out to go to the superheater.
At the bottom a circulating pump takes out the water to the evaporator.
At the side the pipes come in containing a mixture of water and steam, coming from the evaporator.
At this side (not visible) the water is coming in, already heated in a so-called ecomiser.
Almost time to go; my last nightshift this week.
This afternoon I have to attend a meeting and then: weekend!
Quite in front: a gauge glass to check the waterlevel on the spot (required by law).
The level can also be seen in the central control room.
